1. Admission against seventy percent of seats in each branch of Engineering is   offered 10+2 passed students through RPETEAP test by coordinator RPETEAP .MBA 85% seats through RMAT .B Pharma-85% seats through RPET.
2. 15 percent of seats in each branch are reserved for students from outside Rajasthan and their admission is routed through AIEEE examination by Coordinator RPET.
3. 15% seats for B.Tech., M.B.A,B.Pharma are reserved for management quota and admissions are offered to 10+2 passed students as per guide lines of Govt. of Rajasthan.
4. Leftover seats in category (2) are automatically transferred to RPETEAP seats at this stage Coordinator RPET also invites applications from AIEEE candidates from Rajasthan.
5. Left over seats after admission procedure is over by Coordinator RPETEAP are filled by the Institute as per guide lines of Govt. of Rajasthan as vacant seats.
6. 10% extra numeri seats for lateral entry at 2nd B.E Level and for B.Pharma are reserved for Diploma Holders.
7. For  B.Tech. and B.Pharma “AGE LIMIT” is as given below. Not less than 16yrs on 31st Dec’2013. Not more than 23yrs on 1st Oct’2013.

 Lateral Entry Lateral entry at II BE level on ten percent of seats in each branch of Engineering is offered to First class diploma holders from state Technical Board, Rajasthan. This facility is extended to first class diploma holders from state Technical Board of other States if enough students from Rajasthan are not available. Application for admission may be sent to coordinator RPETEAP directly.

Admission calendar for vacant and management seats are synchronized with RPET results and calendar. The policy of refund of the fee, in case of withdrawal , should be clearly notified. There is no refund the fees of a student if the admission is confirmed . If a student gets admission in some other college through RPET upward movement, the fee of the student is transferred to that college. Caution money is refunded after the successful completion of the course.

CRITERIA AND WEIGHTAGES FOR ADMISSION

Admission are taken through the merit list of RPET and AIEEE after that if some seats are left vacant then the admission is given purely on merit basis. The minimum level of acceptance, As per Rajasthan Technical University rule modified time to time.
